JOB DUTIES:

Make use of process improvement techniques, such as Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and other Industrial Engineering methodologies to support continuous improvement of processes and conduct statistical quality control; Perform simulation and modeling of supply chain models with Arena; Use Excel VBA to create business intelligence and related KPI dashboards for periodical operational processes monitoring; Use advanced EXCEL functions including Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Vlookup, Macros; Perform data analysis, data manipulation and data visualization; Perform demand forecasting using linear regression analysis with Matlab; Facilitate business diagnostics, process analysis and/or design workshops to help flush out as-is and desired to-be solution state; Write solution design document to support business requirements; Write functional specifications during design phase of project that supports the documented solution design and is within the scope of solution capabilities; Develop functional business process test scripts; Prepare for and conduct customized end user training workshops to support application training content; Provide advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology; Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers / projects; Configure and deliver supply chain solutions to better facilitate customer business processes (ensuring ability to design, execute, and deliver); Setup and coordinate user acceptance testing; Provide non-technical end user support during the ‘go-live’ and post go live period; May perform some or all of above tasks depending on scope of each project assignment; Work involves travel to various unanticipated client sites across USA; Up to 75% travel required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants need to have a Master’s degree (or foreign equiv.) in Industrial & Systems Engineering or closely related and 1 year of experience in the following: process improvement techniques, statistical quality control, creating business intelligence and related KPI dashboards, demand forecasting using linear regression analysis with Matlab, SQL [database design concepts; solve database retrieval and modification; RDBMS Design; Data Retrieval; Data Modification; Develop & Use SQL Procedures]; Arena; Excel VBA; Six Sigma; Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD); Data Definition Language (DDL) Statements; Data Manipulation Language (DML) statements; Manage database transactions; SQL tuning for optimization.
